Graham Said He Would Send Priestap’s SSCI Briefing to Durham

Allegation: Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham said Bill Priestap was one of five FBI employees who briefed the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2018 and, in Graham’s words, were “completely whitewashing the truth about the reliability of the dossier.” Graham said on Fox News’s Hannity that he would turn the information over to John Durham because briefing senators a year after a Steele sub-source told the FBI the dossier was unreliable was “potentially another crime.” The Epoch Times reported those remarks on the same news cycle. The Washington Examiner had earlier reported Graham’s plan to subpoena an FBI official he said misled the Senate Intelligence Committee on the Steele dossier.

That is Graham’s accusation. This site does not convert it into a charge, a Durham indictment, or a finding that Priestap lied to the Senate. If the Senate got a clean Steele story in 2018, that is a problem. Graham said it out loud. Durham’s later public charging decisions did not include Priestap. The allegation still belongs in the file, labeled.
